Descrição da função

• Responsible for identifying, structuring and negotiating business relationships with prospects and potential customers.
• Identify sales prospects
• Develop deep understanding of Vodacom’s services & the product’s, capabilities and value propositions.
• Help customers determine which Vodacom service(s) or product(s) best suit the customers’ needs.
• Develop new business as well as maintain an existing client base.
• Ability to think strategically, and craft action plans necessary to close deals.
• Up to date and in the know about customers needs, goals and professional practices
• Leverage all internal resources from nearly all functional areas including new product development, engineering, legal, and marketing to accomplish your goals.
• Ensure that company is properly positioned to take advantage of business opportunities develop relationships with key partners that will allow you to grow the business further.
• Responsible for opening new accounts and exceeding revenue goals.
• Maintain a high level of technical proficiency with Vodacom’s services and competition.
• Focus on the client’s problem and show how it could be solved or alleviated with the company’s services.
• Use their technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why the services they are selling would suit the customer better than competitors’ products or services.
• Do a business case with proper cost analysis before responding to customer inquiries, RFQs and RFPs
• Demonstrate to the customer the usefulness of the service—for example, how much the new service would save the customer or increase productivity.

• Proven success in your sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
• Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal
• Strong client management skills and ability to keep promises
• Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
• A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
• Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
• Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A positive attitude to dealing with people
• Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as an individual
• driving license
• A sound understanding of the Africa Telecommunication sector would be a distinct advantage.
