The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving commercial passenger targets for Angola. This includes monitoring operations & administration of sales in line with company procedures; supporting marketing goals & promotional plans; developing value-added products for the local market that optimize & enhance revenue; monitoring and reporting on local market trends and competitor activities; reviewing and working with key travel agents/ GSA to maximize business potential; and working with HQ departments to ensure an integrated sales effort. This position will also have staff management responsibility.

The ideal candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English and Portuguese and must have lived and worked in Angola. We are looking for a University Graduate with significant experience in driving sales, ideally within the airline / travel / tourism / hospitality industries. The right candidate is likely to be an analytical thinker with a high degree of initiative to keep pace with market trends and develop appropriate innovative strategies. Experience of controlling budgets and managing others is advantageous.
