The company’s success relies on a strong and committed partner community. The Partner Sales Executive (PSE) is a key member of the Company’s Partner Sales Team (PST), managing a team of individual contributors who manage key partners.
The Company’s PST manages the Enterprise partners, strategically selected for their impact to the Company’s Corporate and Major account customer segments. The partner team is ultimately responsible to manage, align and optimize the success of the managed partner’s business, in all segments, solutions, transactions and verticals the partner serves, where the Company is aligned.
The PSE manages, coaches and coordinates multiple partner roles, which can include some or all; Solution, Large Account Reseller (LAR), Inside, Value Added Reseller (VAR), and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) PSEs, as well as Partner Practice Recruiters (PPR) and Partner Technology Strategist (PTS). The partner types the PSE’s team can engage with include the Solution Partner, value added resellers and large account resellers.
This person will be required to interact at director and executive levels at customers and partners and manager and director levels at the Company’s business & product groups, marketing, services and account teams. Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
Minimum 8 years related experience - proven success in channel/partner sales, telesales, and sales management
People-management skills and proven success in leading a team that consistently achieved and frequently exceeds sales goals
The ideal candidate should also have strong industry, channel, and competitive knowledge including market trends and best practices and proven cross-group project leadership and management skills
Having immediate group impact including the ability to work independently and resolve complex problems effectively and without escalation is a must
