The project assistant will possess high-level administrative and secretarial skills.

High level of English is mandatory.

It is important that the project assistant demonstrates initiative and has the capacity to work autonomously without the constant intervention of his/her manager for example, writing letters, organising the agendas and preparing the required research.

Within the company, the project assistant will be in charge of scheduling meetings and prioritizing and making appointments on behalf of the manager.

They can represent the manager in some meetings.

Telephone and email service. The project assistant will be responsible of answering the phone calls. Also, he/she is the person in charge of filtering communication so that only calls that are considered important reach the manager.

Event organization support.

In order to perform this function properly, it is important to have an up-to-date list of contacts and suppliers.

Search for information and documentation.

They can look up information, for example, in trade journals, government departments or professional institutions, and summarize this information clearly and concisely for the benefit of the manager.

Finally, it is important that the project assistant has a future perspective and a will to grow within the company, for this position is destined to someone who looks for a long-term professional relation within the media and journalism industry.
