Logistics Team Lead

Ensure the Maintenance of drilling materials inventory.
Plan and carry out vessel loading / offloading activities in cooperation with the logistics manager, volumes of bulks, drilling materials and the like.
Supervise existing staff to support the overall base operations; maintaining, clean & neat Yard(s) and safe operating practices.
Maintain CCU and lifting tackle with respect to certification and safety color code.
Liaise with all departments as required to meet operational and corporate policies and procedures.
Liaise with 3rd party drilling service & material providers as required to ensure ongoing materials requirements are met including container requirements, etc.
Assist Base Manager with future planning with respect to ongoing and upcoming operations with respect to base & vessel operations.
Liaise with support vessel masters and crew as required to ensure safe and efficient loading and offloading operations
Liaise with base operations superintendents and supervisors to ensure safe and timely operations are carried out on behalf of the client.
Attend training to further develop and enhance relevant knowledge and skills.
Perform other duties as required.
Job may require some overtime and / or night shift in the course of operations.

Minimum 5 years supervisor level experience in offshore oilfield drilling support activities; operation of pipe yard, marine base assistant supervisor, etc.
Desirable to have acquired or be participating in professional logistics designation program (I.E. CILT UK).
