MECHANICAL ENGINEER

• Perform all General Project Engineering activities
• Plan and supervise all installation of machinery in line with manufactures specification and design plans and deadlines
• Direct and supervise the maintenance, repairs and modification activities on a wide range of mechanical equipment. Stationary and rotating.
• Provide technical advice and guidance on all related maintenance works
• Maintains a high level of HSE standards as per company policy
• Develop procedures relating to operations, design and maintenance
• Ensure safe, reliable and environmentally responsible operations
• Make use of industry/company codes and standards
• Designing/specifying new or replacement equipment

• Qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Min 9 years offshore experience
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Extensive mechanical / hydraulic experience within the oil and gas industry
• Good English verbal and written comprehension and expression
• Sound knowledge of all related drilling equipment
• Sound knowledge of hydraulic/ pneumatic systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Good teamworking skills
• The ability to prioritise and plan effectively
• A high level of computer literacy, particularly computer-aided esign
• Good commercial awareness
• The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
