Objectives / Scope:

To prepare, support and report upon cost functions within the Contract in accordance with company procedures. To provide a comprehensive cost management and support role within the project for all EP&C components. To provide comprehensive cost reporting, change management, analysis of data and forward forecasting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilising Akims, Provide comprehensive cost control, change control, analysis and reporting for a single project.
  • Monitor and report costs against project Target Cost Estimates.
  • Prepare & deliver regular VOWD, cost reports, forecasts phased over time reports, cost curves & change request registers.
  • Client liaison on all cost related matters, including contract compliance & change request approvals.
  • Generate regular man-hour reports for all project activities and review to assess impact on Cost Forecasting.
  • Deliver client reporting in accordance with reporting calendar.
  • Co-ordinate & maintain a robust Change Management process and recommend actions accordingly.
  • Analyse data and interface with project delivery team in relation to potential over/under-runs, and assist with mitigation measures.
  • Manually input Cost Codes in akims.
  • Challenge anomalies with time writing & procurement costs.
  • Attendance at all project progress review meetings and change control meetings.
  • Monitor KPI measurement criteria and record achievement & forecast assumptions in cost report.
  • Provide Cost Reports and data analysis to Project Manager for input into monthly project report.
  • Interface with Project Manager, delivery team and customer to develop forecasts and feedback to Contract Administrator.
  • Identify akims issues/opportunities and feedback to function manager.
  • Run ad hoc man-hour/non-productive/cost & change request data as required.
  • Maintain project specific cost procedures and work instructions.

  • Take personal responsibility for HSE local site rules and ensure regular review of your personal HSE agreement
  • Intervene and ensure intervention by others where required
  • Report all accidents, incidents and near misses in accordance with Procedures
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and innovations that may affect safety and welfare of personnel or protection of the environment, and inform colleagues accordingly


Titulação mínima
Experiência exigida

Português, Inglês
  • Contabilidade
  • Gestão financeira
  • SAP
Aptidões necessárias


  • QS or Engineering qualifications, HNC/HND to Degree
  • Member of appropriate professional body

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Highly numerate 
  • Commercial acumen 
  • SAP Experience
  • Akims Experience

Experience: Relevant demonstrable experience in a cost position

Personal Skills:

  • Good team working
  • Good self motivation 
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
