We are A small but growing Oil and Energy company. We provide key essential services that connects through the entire value chain of an Exploration & Production of an Oil and Gas Asset. We pride ourselves in having an establishment that aligns to international standard of business operations.
The Role
The Finance & Admin manager will have leadership responsibility for the finance department, and the admin functions of the business. The role will report to the Chief Operations and be part of the organization’s senior leadership team.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Have day to day leadership responsibility for the Admin, Commercial and accounting department. Providing leader oversight to the Department managers relative to their department deliverables
  2. Manage the companies banking operations & Reconciliations from the accounting and admin departments.
  3. Ensure compliance to financial regulatory requirements relative to taxes, certifications and financial auding and book keeping
  4. Ensure proper Journal entries are done by accountant – AP, AR, Payroll Accounting etc.
  5. Design the organizations Financial reporting and financial/data modelling for business planning and forecasting
  6. Manage business finance connectivity between the several companies within the group.
  7. Handle the internal Audit function for the group, ensuring compliance to business financial procedures (petty cash, requisitions, payments etc.)
  8. Identify and hire a HR Generalist for the Company
  9. Identify and hire a Procurement officer for the Company
  10. Identify and hire a Receptionist for the Company
  11. Build a strong Finance and Admin department under your leadership.

Base Pay of 700K to 1000K – Per Month // Incentive Yearly Bonus 3,000,000 to 6,000,000

The Candidate
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following among other qualities and qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance or related field.
2. 10+ Years’ experience as within finance/accounting technical field (with at least 3 years spent as an account and 2 years as a financial analyst)
3. Having Chartered accountancy certification will be plus
4. Having International Finance management (FX movement, International banking, etc.) will be an added advantage
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) & Primavera – is A Must
6. Proficient in English – is A MUST
7. Having flexibility to work late will be required.
