Senior Geologist

To assist the Regional Exploration Section in carrying out Cu and other Base Metal Mineral Exploration, in identifying targets for further exploration and help bring Green fields targets to Brown fields;
The Senior Geologist is also responsible for generating new drill sites, recommending leasing efforts;
Designing and coordinating geological operational support for drilling programs, gathering data and evaluating drilled holes, and keeping abreast of emerging geological, drilling and completion technologies;
Provide geological insight into relevant aspects of deposits on a wide array from the prospecting conducted in the field, proposing, conducting and coordinating evaluation and study work to ensure quality results within a time schedule;
Testing and analyzing samples, geophysics interpretation and developing action plans based on your findings, optimizing and coordinating field development activities and write and/or compile final technical reports;
In addition, the Senior Geologist will help to develop more junior geological staff and utilize technical expertise in decision making and recommendations. An essential part of the role is to help expand the subsurface geoscience understanding and data integration including static and dynamic ore modelling.

MSc. level or higher in Geology;
Demonstrable experience in Geology Exploration at least during 10 Years or more;
xperience using geology software (e.g. ArcGIS, Rockware) and other data and modeling tools (e.g. Vulcan, GoCAD)
Good knowledge of the attributes of ores, soil, minerals and other materials
Ability to handle and analyze data and 3D models
Strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written), Portuguese and English speaker;
Organizational and teamwork ability;
Adopt safe work and environment practices in accordance with the Company safety policies and business conducts;
Be able to understand and execute instructions from the Exploration & Project Management Team.
