Operations Manager

Descrição da função
  • Monitor department KPI’s to ensure workload is effectively prioritised;
  • Communicate required metrics to staff in area of responsibility to include, safety reports, safety audit findings, customer satisfaction trends, financial indicators, area specific KPI’s and relevant group information;
  • Coordinate department personnel to ensure effective KPI management;
  • Work with other area management / supervision to establish & implement best practice in accordance with operational program;
  • Ensure adequate department flexibility to deal with short term customer demands;
  • Identify staff training needs & implement training plans for individuals;
  • Lead/Participate in department reviews including safety meetings, tool box talks, walk the floor activities etc.
  • Attend & participate in regular key customer reviews;
  • Report to General Manager and communicate information on operations status and state;
  • Work effectively with your co-managers to run operations remote when in home office;
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all employees under your control, dealing with any employee issues effectively and with the assistence of HR;
  • Provide support to the business developmet team in pursuit of key projects and clients;
  • Resource department for current and future needs ensuring competent resources are in palce to deliver contractual requirements.
  • Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organization’s mission specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning;
  • Other tasks related to the job.

Aptidões necessárias
  • Degree in Operations management, Project management, Business administration, or similar field;
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a leadership positions in the oil industry or multinational company;
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (Written and Spoken);
  • Familiar with KPI’s required to demonstrate/improve operational performance;
  • Understanding of the rental business within the offshore oil & gas industry;
  • Experience of process management in CCU rental business or similar industry experience;
  • Financial awareness including PL and Cost Control;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and management software’s;
  • Demonstrated success in the areas of strategic thinking, effective team building, change leadership, and results orientation;
  • Solid analytical skills; ability to develop and communicate findings and recommendations, creating actionable strategies;
  • Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities or work environments;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively;
  • Ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while adhering to tight schedules.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely and accurate completion of each;
  • Ability to present information and interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
