The Facilities Maintenance section is looking for a new Maintenance Supervisor to supervises the maintenance of the U.S. Embassy compound.
• The work of this position has an emphasis on the integration of operational initiatives with administrative and management factors and manpower considerations needed to fulfill overall maintenance operational policies, objectives, and goals.
• This position will be responsible for analyzing elements for organizational functions which include but are not limited to equipment, budgeting, and work force management.
• The incumbent will serve as a post contract officer representative (COTR), supervising the work performed by outside contractors.
• The position also oversees the budget of routine maintenance and other improvement projects.

Science degree or equivalent university degree in structural, electrical, or mechanical engineering discipline from an accredited school. A license from an accredited engineering governing organization, that is, Building Operation Management Institute (BOMI) or local equivalent is required.
Five years on the job experience, with two years as maintenance supervisor or team leader is required.
Level IV (fluent) English and Level IV (fluent) Portuguese are required.
Required Job Knowledge
Proficient knowledge of electronics and electricity, including generation, power distribution system, security alarm systems and fire alarm system.
Experience in planning, developing, and conducting analyses and studies on a segment of major, broad-scope maintenance program for overall operational efficiencies/inefficiencies and maintenance-related building trends is required.
Skill in using and maintaining maintenance tracking systems to provide building status reports.
Skill in developing and presenting findings of systems analyses and corrective recommendation to management.
Good interpersonal skills are a must.
Must already have the right to work in Angola.
