Offshore Tie-In Tooling Technician

We are looking for Offshore Tie-In Tooling Technicians - 28:28 rotation offshore Angola.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Support offshore suction anchor, manifold, PLET / PLEM, and flow & control line installations & tie-in operations from EPCI Vessel.

• Maintain and supervise the operation of Aker Solutions provided tooling to be used for tie-in’s.  Repair, maintain, and supervise the operation of standard ROV tooling provided to EPCI Contractor by Aker Solutions.

• Assist EPCI crew and end Client with the necessary preparation of Aker Solutions equipment for, lifting & transport, sea fastening, over-boarding / deployment, installation, tie-in, commissioning, & subsea preservation. 

• Provide technical data on installable Aker Solutions equipment as required.  Liaise with onshore support team when required.

• Assist Supervisor with Offshore Inventory and need lists.

• QHSE compliance and reporting to Offshore Supervisor.

Qualifications & personal attributes:

• Proven Offshore Operational Field Experience

• Good knowledge in Subsea Projects.

• Experience with Aker Solutions Subsea Production System tie-in systems and tooling.

• Knowledge of standard ROV tooling and the maintenance & subsea operation thereof.

• Project language is English.  Oral and written fluency in English is required. Some fluency with Portuguese and / or French would be an advantage.

• QHSE Service minded and role model for the team.
