-Manage the overall maintenance function in the company by ensuring maximum utilization of maintenance employees to keep the plant and equipment running efficiently with minimal downtime. This includes the management of preventive maintenance and inventory control.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained to comply with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Oversee job schedules to determine progress to detect insufficient utilization of workers and equipment.
- Manage and coordinate team activities by reviewing preventative maintenance schedules and estimate work requirements for completion of reactive repairs.
- Provide maintenance teams with technical training guidance and technical expertise on equipment and plant maintenance.
-Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering
-10 years relevant experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
-Language Proficiency: Portuguese and English
