Descrição da função

• Assist the customers in ensuring double seam integrity as well as adherence to can filling, seaming and handling best practices.
• Do double seam evaluation, interpret results and report back to customers with recommendations and solutions for the double seam quality
• Do seamer machine setup to achieve good quality double seams within specification
• Perform seamer audits , assist with repairs and overhauls
• Liaise with seamer manufacturer’s on technical issues on seamers
• Call and visit customers on a weekly basis
• Advise customers on best practices
• Write comprehensive reports for customer visits and determine solutions as well as follow up on actions
• Interact with Nampak’s Sales function, R&D function and QA function on issues that affect customer efficiencies

Aptidões necessárias

• Degree in Mechanical Engineer or similar
• At least 3 years’ experience in mechanical fitting from FMCG environment (preferably experience in can filling lines)
• Have good technical skills, report writing and communication skills
• Commercial Skills
• Good command with Portuguese and English as well
• Be computer literate
• Competence on ERP such as SAP/JDE etc. would be an advantage
• Good time keeper and independent and team player
• Must be willing to learn and work under pressure and self-motivated
• Must be willing to travel, transfer skills and knowledge to the team
• Must have a valid driver’s license
