Descrição da função

The QHSE Officer reports to the Contracts and Office Manager and is responsible:

  • Team spirit.
  • Professional competency in English and French.
  • Management of all HSE related resources.
  • Develop positive HSE culture through active leadership and example
  • Lead HSE performance by providing advice and training to shore‐based and offshore personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with Company and clients standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct visits/inspections of shore bases and vessels to ensure compliance with Company standards, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting of incidents, investigations and HSE related statistics.
  • Support incident investigation and root cause analysis as required.
  • Manage initiatives by leading campaigns and trainings to improve HSE performance.
  • Ensure the follow up and implementation of the latest HSE related regulations.
  • Assist in the organization of external audits by flags or RO in the scope of ISM, ISPS, MLC and any other relevant standards.
  • Provide induction to new hired Pilots, and visitors.
  • Conduct onboard/offshore training/coaching relative to PROMAR Integrated Management System.
  • Provides and explain latest Company’s instructions and safety campaigns.

Candidate must show the following competencies:

  • Conversant with relevant maritime regulations and industry best practices.
  • Training on ISM, ISPS, MLC is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OVMSA standard is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Oil & Gas operations.
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and develop new processes and applications.
  • Ability to observe and communicate within defined line management.
  • Team spirit.
  • Professional competency in English and French.
