Advising and helping to define Strategic Priorities of the Group on an ongoing basis, and the best solutions / vendors in Angola that are best suited to achieving these priorities;

Perform market research on emerging opportunities and needs analysis in the Angolan Agriculture sector;

Evaluate productivity / yield improvement potential in select crops in the Angolan market through the effective use of fertilizer, capital equipment and modern farming techniques;

Lead efforts of the Group to mobilise a specialised network of Agriculture related companies and professionals within Angola;

Liasing with foreign technical specialists performing Agriculture-related market and technical studies in Angola, including reputed experts in the North African / Nordic region.

Recognised expert and thought leader within Agriculture related fields, with a strong specialised network within Angola;

Proven track record and 10+ years’ experience in specialist Agronomy organisations, with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a capacity of Senior Leadership;

Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Science, or related specialist fields. Relevant advanced degrees will be an advantage;

Strong International Mind-set, and ability to interact well across a broad array of senior-level stakeholders;

Strong technical and commercial knowledge of the Agricultural Value Chain, and stakeholders within Angola;

Effective Networking and Communication Skills, to a variety of both technical and non-
technical related audiences;

Strong Written and Spoken Business English and Portuguese;

Strong Leadership abilities to attract, develop & retain talent in the organisation;

Building a young, dynamic and motivated team of Agricultural and Commercial Professionals;

Set clear objectives, process guidelines and guide team members to achieve targets and performance standards;

Develop a robust plan that ensure employee engagement and continued professional growth.
