Java Team Leader (IAST) - Portugal

Checkmarx is looking for awesome Team Leader for researching and developing a new and cool Application Security product.

The candidate will build and manage the back-end team of a new emerging cyber-security product, and work with the best people and with the most cutting edge technologies.

• Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering


• At least 3 years of experience in Java Server/back-end mandatory


• At least 1.5 years of experience as a Team Leader with 30%-50% hands-on mandatory


• Experience in App Servers / Web containers (i.e. Tomcat) mandatory


• Jenkins / Bamboo / TeamCity / Eclipse / InteliJ plugin development big advantage


• Multi-threading experience mandatory


• Windows + Linux OS experience as user mandatory


• Proven experience in software design, methodologies, and architecture of large and complex software systems mandatory


• Experience with C# / Node.js - advantage


• Experience with relational DBs using JDBC/JPA advantage


• Network programming (http/rest/tcp) advantage


• Great understanding of OO concepts
