System Administrator / Administrador de Sistemas TIC

This position defines, creates and maintains an entire data center that contains hybrid  environment (Physical and virtual servers).

• User administration (setup and maintaining account) 

• Maintaining system 

• Verify that peripherals are working properly 

• Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure 

• Monitor system performance 

• Create file systems 

• Install software 

• Create a backup and recovery policy 

• Monitor network communication 

• Update system as soon as new version of OS and application software comes out 

• Implement the policies for the use of the computer system and network 

• Setup security policies for users.

• Strong grasp of computer security (e.g. firewalls and intrusion detection systems) 

• Documentation 

• Password and identity management

• Maintain VMware environment

• Maintain HP storage environment

• experience with DR mechanism (Advantage)

• High-level English speaker 

• Strong demonstrable knowledge of Windows 2012 Server environment; 

• MCSA Certified (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) or (preferred) MCSE Certified (Microsoft Certified System Engineer ) 

• Storage management 

• Strong demonstrable knowledge of Active Directory & enterprise management strategies, group polices, security policies etc; 

• Good knowledge of security products: antivirus, firewall, IDS, end point protection, media encryption 

• Fundamental knowledge of networking and protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP, packet routing, etc.);

• Good knowledge of network equipment management: routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, encryption (IPSEC), etc. 

• Knowledge of / ability to design and implement an effective backup strategy; 

• Be adept at multiple web site and configuration management with IIS across LAN and WAN environments; 

• Oracle administration and/or connectivity skills are a plus;
