Descrição da função

The selected Administrative Assistant must be able to perform effectively in each of these areas:

-Accountable to the Finance & Accounting Manager for controlling the company financials;

-Work with the Finance & Accounting Manager to define the overall strategy for the Finance & Accounting Department;

-Develop action plan as well as the budget for the Finance & Accounting Department and ensure its alignment with the corporate strategic vision and direction;

-Develop key performance indicator development and monitoring, reforecasting and monthly reporting accountabilities;

-Establish monitor and enforce finance policies and procedures and ensures that all procedures are performed according to established accounting standards and policies, in accordance with the Pipeline Services Contract with Angola LNG Limited;

-Manage enterprise-wide finance, such as funding and cash management, overall capital of the company and maximizes the return;

-Advise Finance & Accounting Manager on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization;

-Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities;

-Prepare the organization’s financial reports and present findings and recommendations to the top executive group and/or Board. Reports may include auditor and financial analyst reports; profit and loss statements and balance sheets; and regulatory reports and filings;

-Manage tax strategy and monitor tax compliance of the entire SOMG, ensuring that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time;

-Manage and direct day to day financial activities and ensure appropriate financial resources are in place and oversight of the financial control and reporting of the company;

Degree in Finance or Accounting or other relevant fields

Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing a financial department

Highly fluent in English and Portuguese

Strong effective communicator

Highly developed teamwork skills.

Planning, Scheduling and Coordination skills

Experience with Business Writing and Presentations (ppt).

Able to network and establish good interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization

Highly organized and able to quickly respond and deal with unprecedented changes and last minute requests

Adaptable, flexible and a self-motivator
